Steve Lin

Steve has over 15 years of professional experience investing in companies in a variety of industries, sizes and situations. Prior to founding Lineage Partners, Steve spent several years in entrepreneurial roles at growing, successful equity long/short hedge funds, researching and recommending investments in public companies. He has also held positions in private equity, focused on control investments in growing technology companies, as well as leveraged finance, providing debt financing to support financial sponsor transactions.

Steve grew up in Potomac, Maryland, and earned a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S.E. in Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology (M&T). He earned a MBA in Investment Management at Columbia Business School. He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and 2 sons.
